How it works
From "will this race fit me" to a plan you trust.
Real moments in the app, not a feature list: getting your data in, a straight verdict on a race, a taper that adjusts itself, asking out loud instead of hunting through menus, and alerts when a new race fits you.
Step 1
Start with your own numbers
Type in the numbers you know. Every self-reported number says so, with wider bands until a race result confirms it. Connecting a watch or training platform is not available yet: tell us which one you want and we build them in the order people ask.
Step 2
See exactly how a race fits you
Enter a race and Cadence checks it against your real training history: a predicted finish range, how hard it should feel, and exactly which part of the course is driving that answer — never a flat pace multiplier.
Step 3
Taper without guessing
Set a peak race and Cadence lays out a deterministic taper — four phases built from how many weeks out you are. Never an AI-generated plan, and it tells you plainly which phase you're in right now.
Your highest weekly volume and longest long run land here.
Volume drops 20–30% below peak. Pace stays the same.
A bigger cut, 40–60% below peak. Intensity stays in.
Volume bottoms out, 60–80% below peak. Rested, not undertrained.
Step 4
Talk to it, out loud or typed
Paste a race URL, ask what fits you, or just talk — voice or text. Cadence acts on it directly: pulls up the report that answers you, instead of making you dig through tabs.
Step 5
It tells you when a new race fits
When Cadence refreshes the race catalog, it checks every new race against your fitness. A race that scores a real fit becomes a notification, so you don't have to go looking for it. Open the app now and then to keep the check running.
